Wystawa czynna codziennie do 15 listopada

Cykl prac Imaginarium jest kontynuacją projektu Trans-local, który rozpoczęłam w Japonii w 2007 roku. Jego istota, najogólniej rzecz ujmując, zawiera się w dociekaniu: w jaki sposób geograficzna zmiana miejsca wpływa na artystę, czy pozwala mu (a może pomaga) wyjść poza ustalone kategorie własnej tożsamości: cielesnej, psychicznej, społecznej czy kulturowej.

Obrazy z serii Imaginarium powstały w Proyecto?ace - studio grafiki, fotografii i nowych mediów w Buenos Aires
w sierpniu 2009 roku. Doświadczenia argentyńskiej, obcej dla mnie przestrzeni, poszukiwania prawdy o miejscu, spotkanych ludziach, ale i o sobie, próby dotarcia do rzeczywistości w jej niezapośredniczonej, autentycznej postaci przedstawiłam w hybrydowej pracy złożonej z grafik, fotografii i instalacji.

The series of works Imaginarium is the continuation of the project Trans-local, which I started in 2007, during my stay in Japan. The overall idea was to explore the concept of how geographic relocation influences an artists creativity, and whether it hepls artists to go beyond the fixed categories of their own identity: physical, mental, social or cultural.

Images from Imaginarium series are the outcome of the collaboration with Proyecto'ace - the studio of printmaking, photography and novel media in Buenos Aires in August  2009.The experience of the Argentine space, alien to me, the search for the truth about the place, people, but also about myself, the attempts to reach reality in its unmediated authentic form, are all presented in a hybrid work consisting of prints, photographs and installations.
